Gregory Dimitriadis is the Secretary General for International Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since July 2019 and the Chairman of the Board of Enterprise Greece since October 2019. Prior to joining the Government, he was the Executive Vice-President of HVA International, a Dutch consulting firm for agribusiness in developing countries established in 1879. From 2016 to 2018, he was the Managing Director of Iskra Zaščite, a surge protection manufacturer and innovator with facilities in Slovenia and China, integrating the company to the Raycap Group that had acquired it. Previously, he served as Chairman of the Board & CEO of the Athens Urban Transport Organisation S.A. (OASA), a state-owned enterprise, from 2013 to 2015. From 2010 to 2013, he served as Special Advisor to the Greek Minister for Development and Competitiveness on Exports. Before that he was the coordinator of a civil society initiative in Thessaloniki, Greece, aiming at public policy innovation. He has also worked in London, UK, for a telecommunication multinational focusing on change management and for a promotion firm as sales and marketing manager. He studied in the UK and the USA, holding a bachelor with honours in engineering (Manchester Metropolitan University) and two masters; one in the field of telecommunications (UCL) and another in international business relations and international negotiations (The Fletcher School, Tufts University).
